Last weekend, a traffic stop in Lodi ended in the arrest of a Wisconsin man for growing and selling marijuana.
Law enforcement pulled over the man for speeding up to 100 mph near Lodi and subsequently linked him to a domestic disturbance at a residence back in town.
As officers approached the home to investigate, they were greeted with the strong odor of marijuana emanating from the residence.
When the occupants were ordered out of the home in connection with the domestic dispute, officers noticed marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia in the house.
A search warrant turned up roughly 135 grams of marijuana, marijuana plants, and grow equipment resulting in charges of manufacturing and possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house.
If you are under investigation or have been arrested for possession, manufacture or selling of marijuana or other illegal drugs, it is important to secure legal representation immediately.
