Wisconsin news outlets are reporting that two Wisconsin brothers have been arrested on drug charges after parents of a high school student involved in the distribution of vaping cartridges with THC indirectly tipped police off to their alleged activities when reporting their son. Following the trail, investigators claim to have uncovered an illegal drug operation allegedly involving the brothers, believed to be the largest of its kind in Kenosha county and quite possibly the country.
After searching one of the two residences allegedly connected to the brothers, law enforcement claim to have found tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of firearms and ammo, various drugs, cell phones and more. A search of the other residence, believed to be where the alleged drug operation was based, unveiled thousands of vape cartridges containing THC, unfilled injectable cartridges, and several jars filled with THC oil - products with an estimated street value of 1.5 million.
The younger brother, 20, is expected to be charged with various crimes including manufacture, distribution, and delivery of marijuana/THC, more than 10,000 grams; possession with the intent to manufacture, distribute, and deliver marijuana/THC, more than 10,000 grams; maintaining a drug house; and unauthorized use of individual’s personal and identification information. According to one news outlet, the older brother, 23, faces fewer charges which are expected to include possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine, and a probation hold. Investigators believe many more are involved in the illegal operation who are now the subject of a search.
